President’s Newsletter for June

It’s June, and in addition to more opportunities for outdoor events, it’s time for our Annual Picnic. It will be held at Fossil Creek Community Park on 6/22 from 2-5pm. As before, BBQ from Dickey’s will be provided, as will iced tea, lemonade, water, and cookies. Please register on the Event Calendar and note that your registration is not complete until the fees ($17.50 per person) are received. In order to get an accurate count so that we know how much food to order, the registration deadline (including payment) is June 10.

A big thank you to Vice President German Larrarate for organizing this event, and to all of your board members and other volunteers who are working to make this event a success. We hope to see you there.

We have a new feature on our club’s home page: a link to photos from recent events. Coordinators should have received a communication from our Webmaster, Bill Ault, on how to post photos to the album. Other members who have photos to post or coordinators who are having difficulty posting photos can send them to Bill and he will post them for you.

Lastly, we have received a request to establish a Ski Interest Group. The request will be acted on at the July Board meeting, but I anticipate the board will approve the establishment of this group.
